Palin's Boobgate

Featured Replies

Apparently its a topic of major discussion speculating Sarah Palin may have had implants. And while I totally disagree with her politics and everything else she says and does, I do have to say, she has a very good point:

Yes, I think it's pretty ridiculous. And what it does, it ends up ultimately wasting time and wasting people's energies. Here's an example of how it kind of wastes some time. To be judged on or to be talked about on appearance, say chest size — it makes me wear layers. It makes me have to waste time figuring out, What am I going to wear so that nobody will look in a area that I don't need them to look at? I want them to hear what it is that I'm saying. It ends up wasting time and that's just very, very unfortunate.

I don't see why her breasts have to be a primary focus considering all the other crazy stuff we could be discussing about her instead

Maybe she wants to be in Playboy or Penthouse. She is an attractive lady for her age. Just because her politics suck does not mean that her days are over. I just wonder if she came to Thailand and had the work done? 90K baht a set:whistling:.

Agreed sbk.

Of course its nothing new.

Too often the focus is on how a woman looks physically. Fine if the woman is a model or a profession where her appearance is meant to be the focus. But when it comes to doing a job that has nothing to do with her body and everything to do with her mind, that focus is out of line. Same goes for men too of course, but its not something that happens to men as frequently (although it does happen).

I dont think its ever going to change though. At least not for a long time. The media are too obsessed and the public are too idiotic. Or is it the other way around..? Guess they feed eat other.

Why not focus on perhaps her only attribute? Any other areas of discussion pertaining to her would be pretty negative I imagine. Let's keep it fair and balanced. :)

55,000 if your thai and thats for a really good set at a top specialist the ones that you dont have massage everyday,my wife had them done last year.she made me stay at home and took a thai friend with her, said as soon as they saw me the price would be a lot higher.

no it wasnt for me i liked how she was before but she was never happy about her size and now she is.loves her new look.not too big perfect for her body shape.by the way the wife was 30 at the time.

i guess are lot of women are the same the world over when it comes to this.

While I can certainly understand some women wanting larger breasts I think its inappropriate for that to be the sole focus esp in a politician as way out there as Palin. There are so many other things that she says and does that are far more worthy of scrutiny. Its stupid, IMO, and potentially dangerous to ignore other far more important factors in a politician who is working very hard at creating a reputation for herself. Just goes to show that shallow rules the day.

Judging by the tabloid press in the UK and US, celebrities' (and I use the term loosely) appearance is a national obsession, especially women's cosmetic enhancements, baby bumps, stomach after giving birth, and tattoos. All part of the dumbing down of society in general.

Mine are flat like pancakes and I love them. No drooping, no need for expensive bras. look good in wee t shirts.

Tiny tits live xxx

I thought Thailand had the monopoly on this.

I think many women would disagree with you- i have met plenty of office women who dress to show off their bodies/cleavage and i guess they are seeking mens focus on their body??

And that is what defines them as human beings? Thats rather sad. Sure, women like to dress to look good. But should her role as a politician be defined by whether or not she's had a boob job? Are you really comparing office workers to Palin?

Considering who we are talking about, a boob job wouldn't exactly harm her credibility. JK

Not comparing office workers to Palin. I think the focus on looks comes with the job of being a politician (particularly in the States) unfortunately. Whats scary to me is how many people actually want Palin to be President.

I think most people dismissed her as a politician the first time they heard her speak. No point dwelling on that aspect of her career anymore. I've only seen her but once, and that on YouTube and to say I was less than impressed would be a gross understatement. I think any talk about her political views, good or bad, just lends credibility to her as a political force, which I just choose not to contemplate. I'll not be contemplating her boobs either, as I hope to never lay eyes on her again, but if someone else wants to, who cares?

Actually, what disturbs me more is the fact that focusing on her boob job takes the focus off her whackjob political views, and yes, she is awful but she does have her supporters and that can't be ignored by simply burying one's head in the sand or even her tits.
