Watch Football?

Featured Replies

I thought it was rather nice of Thai TV to announce 30 mins before kick off on monday that if you have a satellite dish then you can't watch the football!

It's Ok if you have UBC/True but if you have one of those black or red ones that you buy once and don't get a monthly bill then it will be blocked.

I really don't see the reasoning behind this.

I can guess there are millions of unhappy people running around right now trying to locate some sort of aeriel. You can watch it if you have a normal aerial

crazy!!

(Luckily I have UBC/True but in another room, for the wife's soaps, I have one of those black dishes)

It is called Licences and RS. :)

OK fair enough but why has it just happened today? Why not tell people a few weeks before the tournament started? I mean the world cup is a pretty big deal....

To some people yes and to some people no. Even the Thais can be slow on maximising their profits. At 10,000 baht per illegal television we are talking a chunk of change.
