Dec 31 workday, Jan 2 off

Cabinet yesterday declared Jan 2 a New Year holiday instead of Dec 31, to allow state employees to enjoy a long weekend from Jan 1 to Jan 4, deputy government spokeswoman Sansani Nakpong said.
