Yes simply look up the historic price of gold and convert it into baht. You should be able to go back a couple of hundred years. That is the point of gold.

I am looking for site that shows the price in baht weight and baht price.

It's for my mom who is over 60 and she just started internet. I think the chart data will be a little heavy for her.

Gold price for Thai gold up until 2-3 years ago can be found in the web site of the Bank of Thailand. They then stopped updating this info and now refer you to the web site of the Thai Gold Traders Association (most of which is in Thai). You should be able to locate both of these sources just by using google, e.g. search on "Bank of Thailand gold prices" or similar. Alternatively a chart is provided in the book "Your Investment Guide to Thailand" - details at www.silkwormbooks.com

Hi,

In the menu above in the previous link posted is a choice for Price Archive. So, you can zero in on a specific day, or range of days (up to 30, I believe - I just zeroed in on the day).

However, I noticed some discrepancy between what I entered on my spread sheet, and the 'buy' amount for that day. That could be the difference between what I sold it for, and what the high of the day was, but several times, the difference was around 500 baht, which seems a bit much.

Anyhow, even though it got me thinking (something I try to avoid) it seems like a very useful tool. Thanks for posting that!
