Charcoal

I know where to get small bags from (everywhere!), but presumably it's cheaper if bought in large bags. I've just made a BBQ from a large barrel so plan to get through a lot of charcoal...

Where can I buy it in large sacks? Preferably on the south side of town, but any recommendations at all very much appreciated :jap:

The big market at Hang Dong has lamyai wood charcoal in the large bags. The lamyai makes decent charcoal for what you describe.

Chiang Mai Gate. Turn into the city at Chiang Mai Gate, take the first right turn. After 20 metres there is a shop with bbqs outside it. they sell large bags, but you have to ask as they keep them outback.
