Hi,

Does anyone know of a shop on Samui that can string tennis rackets? Or perhaps someone with their own machine that could for a fee?

I tried calling the tennis club in Bangrak but the guy who picked up didn't seem to speak much English and couldn't tell me if they could or not.

I have my own strings so would like to know the cost for just the stringing job.

Thanks

They are selling strings in the shop on the ground floor of Big C so i guess they can do the stringing job... or not :)

Let me know when you find because i need to do it for my racket as well.

Thanks

Saw a young lad in that sports shop in Big C some months ago stringing a reacket. :D

I remember it, as it struck me as odd since I haven't seen anyone play on the island.

Don't want to derail the thread ..... but where do you guys play?

I play @ Imperial in Chaweng Noi; I have tried the courts in Bang Rak but i prefer Imperial's one.

I also play at Imperial. Bangrak Tennis Center has resurfaced their courts and will be hosting the Samui Open Tennis Tournament open to all levels. You can contact Edwin, the tennis pro there.

Got two rackets strung at Big C, shop is called 'Super sports'

200baht each as I had my own strings. 150baht if you buy strings from them. Very reasonably priced.

Folks there were nice and string job is fairly good. Glad we have this shop in Samui, the only game in town really.
