Strangest thing- since you mentioned it, I just checked his website here but there isn't a new column since mar 25th??? Hope all's well, maybe took a vacation? :o

I ran into Mr Trink for the first and only time last year going up the steps of the skytrain (opp emporium bulls head side) and he was kind enough to take a moment. His assistant (wife?) was with him, seemed a very nice lady.

I seem to remember that he still has a column in the Bangkok Post doing film reviews :o

I paid for the first year he had his column online.

Second year was free, but stopped in March.

Then there was a request for a volenteer to transcribe his column onto the web-site.

Then there was a deafening silence. He is not answering his e-mails.

Frankly, I don't think it would be a good idea for him to resurrect his column online.

Towards the end, there were just stupid lists to pad out a column of inane rubbish.

He can't compete on the web. His medium was the printed page.

Wish he would write his autobiograpy, but he has always said that he never will.
