And anyone knows if I can keep my pre-paid card number if I leave Thailand for a few months? SHould I keep "refilling" it to avoid it to be empty to keep the number? Thanks!

How can I recharge the SIM from overseas?  I asked DTAC and they said to use my Thai Bank account (that I don't  have).  If you know  a way, please let me know.

Another way is to simply have a friend or associate in the LOS stop by a DTAC shop with your DTAC mobile number and 50 baht (the cirrent minimum required to TopUp a DTAC SIM) or more.

It is very easy to TopUp a DTAC SIM and keep your mobile number going if you have any contacts in Thailand.
