First Time Car Registration

_{I have been reading a lot about car re-registrations on this forum and the need to obtain proof of residency, but are there any other requirements in order to buy a new vehicle ?}

_{Do you have to live in the area where you register the car or can I buy the car in Chiang Mai register it and then drive it in Pattaya ?}
