July 3, 200521 yr TRUE home use contract states that if I run more than 1 computer on home use ADSL I am liable for all kinds of payments and sanctions - does anyone know how easily TRUE can detect more than 1 Computer connected to ADSL behind a router ? What I am talking about here is the occaisional simultaneous use of a laptop in addition to a desktop, I am not talking about flagrant dishonesty like running a whole office of PC's behind a router on the home package. Any experiences? Do the TRUE police sniff you out and present you with a huge bill/confiscate your PC? Are you setting yourself up for a diet of red rice in Bang Kwang? July 3, 200521 yr Ha.... I thought I had read this somewhere allready. Here's the answer from the other site you posted the question at...not my answer BTW. Relax. It's nearly impossible for them to detect the occasional second computer on the same line. Even if they could, they don't have the manpower to go after you. There are those which misuse the precious bandwidth we all share much more than you. The best policy in Thailand is to just plead ignorance when you're caught, anyway.
