We are a western couple, have been living in bkk for a couple of years. Not stereotypically ex-pat, we gave up our lives in London and came out here because we liked it, not because we were sent for a job. We are both professional (having become employed out here) and in our 30s and would like to meet other western couples, or singles for socialising etc etc. It just isn't that easy to meet people!

We have varied tastes in music, movies and all that, enjoy a fun night out, but probably wouldn't join a morning coffee group, if you see the meaning. We arn't hisociety, or rich and we don't own a luxury house in gardens Just normal people (more or less).

you should check out www.southerners-bangkok.com. As well as participating in social sports, it provides a pretty good social access to people who are in your age group living and working in Thailand.

Head along to one of the many "meet up's" mentioned time to time on the board, usually a nice bunch of people and a good night out.
