July 5, 200521 yr Inspired by another post asking what other Thai related links does one look at, I can only say that the only other site worth looking at other than this one is the TAT website. The Tourism Authority of Thailand does a fantastic job in attracting tourists to the land of smiles with a genuine desire to help and please. The TAT website and this one are the only ones needed for the first time holidaymaker, or even for the tenth time. The TAT are regularly updating information and are doing their very best to ressure people who maybe nervous about coming to Thailand following the tsunami. Anybody who has worked in tourism will know what a diverse industry it is and that public relations, presentation, writing, advertising and photography are all important parts of the mechanism for which it is based. Those who work for the TAT should be proud for they excel in all of the above and much much more, and with the TAT representing their wonderful land to the outside world I am sure that Thailand will enjoy a prosperous and well deserved influx of tourists and holidaymakers for many many years to come. Three cheers for TAT.
