A 26-year-old Muslim religious scholar has been chosen as the winner of a Malaysian TV talent show searching for a top young imam, or Muslim leader.

In Friday's live TV final, Muhammad Asyraf saw off the last of nine other contestants vying to win Young Imam.

He had survived 10 weeks of written and practical tests, which included reciting Koran verses, washing a dead body for burial and slaughtering live sheep".

The only Religious intolerance in Malaysia is for the Muslim Malays who hold all the power in the Government, Armed forces, education, Oil money etc against all the rest of the non -Muslim Malay population, the Chinese Malaysian & Indian Malaysian populations...go talk to them and come back with humility.

What do you think the Muslim Malays want Malaysia to be?

It only applies more on the West Malaysia ruled under a racist government, UMNO.

East malaysia is practically free from such rubbish...however, except for the case of the Home Minister banning the import of Indonesian bibles into East Malaysia because it contained "Allah" words in the Bible. The home minister is now being SUED! And the best of all, the 20 point agreement gives more freedom to the East:

"Point 1: Religion While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in North Borneo, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to North Borneo."

But thats the point of the strategy, spread the State Religion to North Borneo, approved or not, North Borneo will just be another conquered land in their eyes.
