Low Bloodpressure

Featured Replies

For the last 10 yrs I have been medicating with the same drug and the same doseage to reduce bp 180/140. now it has gone down to 112/51 very low altho I feel o.k, not dizzy or any unusual symptoms I was thinking should I Reduce dosage by 1/2 ? or perhaps discontinue altogether for a while Or go to the doctor .Any thoughts. Thanks

I think you need to reduce the dosage gradually but consult the doctor first.

Some people need to continue taking medication even though the blood pressure is low such ad old MI, Aortic aneurysm, old ischemic stroke, certain co-kindey disease.

Talk to your doctor and find out.

good luck.
