rgs2001uk
Ah great to see a fellow "space cadet" contributing some slabs of sonic rock from beyond the heart of the sun. Be aware this isnt for the faint of heart. Brock Lemmy and Simon King come together as one on this, almost telepathic, check out the drumming, how many beats per minute, the sonic savegery never stops. Not to be listened to without a psychiatrist present, you will never be the same again after enduring the whole album in one go, some never come back from the "other side"
bannork
'I heard the train in the Tulsa night'.....pure magic but rgs will be disappointed whispering Bob is not in the introduction, instead we have the beautiful, demure Emmylou, oh well... rgs2001uk
BN, this is one of the wifes favourite songs, not my cuppa tea, but there you go. Still its more pleasing on the ear than some of the other crap she likes, a la The Scorpions or Richard Marx.

bannork
I like this guy Otis and his violinist, the combination of the rough with the smooth, the gruff down to earth guitarist with the arty, flighty violin works well imo.

bannork
Spending 3 years of my teen years in a school in Rutland ,a county of gentle hills in England with fields of wheat and lovely limestone cottages and buildings, we used to cycle around the beautiful countryside in the summer, going into rural pubs pretending to be 18..Coming back to school, we would clamber into one of our friends' rooms\studies, someone who had a decent stereo with big speakers and listen to tracks such as this ...magical
