Same album, brilliant stuff.

The Damned - I Just Can't Be Happy Today [1979]

Brilliant.

I have seen the Damned play live about 8 times, back in the early eighties.

Jamie xx - Gosh [2015]

Robert Wyatt - Old Europe [2003]

Billy Bird- Alabama Blues - Part 1 [1928]

Extreme Noise Terror - Peel Sessions '87-90 (Full Album)

Chiang Mai post 6727-Led Zep never visited Kashmir as far as I know, though Jimmy spent time in India back in the 70s or early 80s, checking out the local musicians. Now he's often in Bangkok, I recommend he moves to Issan or perhaps Chiang Mai to team up with the blues guitarist and Lonely Planet writer, Joe Cummings who accompanied Mick Jagger on his visit to Thailand a few years back..

imo no one has ever come near Led Zep in the hard rock category for virtuosity, variety and originality- god i was lucky to be only 15 when Led Zep 1 came out, spent many a night preparing for O levels, air- guitaring to this....lol

On the final run to Christmas and how lucky we are with the Thai 'winter' beginning,.......cool enough to require a jacket or light coat at night but pleasant enough in the day to go back to T shirts and shorts.... Perfect weather with a mildly crisp breeze to make one feel fully at ease.

And on that note let the Christmas songs begin!

Durutti Column - Sketch for Winter [1980]

The Wedding Present - You Should Always Keep In Touch With Your Friends [Live in Sydney 2012]

Floating Points - Peroration Six [2015]

Songs of Separation - Echo Mocks The Corncrake [2016]

Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, magical if snowing is falling, and throw in a bit of Latin to augment the sense of history

Found this for another thread, what a great song....

Am ROCKING here.................intheclub.gif

Council Tax Band - O Tannenbaum [2015]

5555

Equal Rights and Justice.

Frank Sidebottom - Christmas is Really Fantastic [1994]

B.B. King - Merry Christmas Baby

As pertinent and moving as ever, for all the victims of war, whether they be in Syria, the Middle East or Africa

Dedicated to the poor young and delusional guys being sent ot Afgahnisatn to prop up a corrupt drug lord.

Please Mr Cameron, bring these guys back home, let the Taliban have it, you are only delaying the inevitable.

The Damned - There Ain't No Sanity Clause [1980]
