Na Filí - Jigs [1973 Peel Session]

Can't go wrong with Peely!!!

Listening to the Edgar Broughton Band - heavily influened by Howling Wolf and Captain Beefheart. Where in Pattaya plays music like this?

John Peel was a major influence on the delivery of alternative popular music in the UK...right with Alan Lomax, John Hammond and Chris Strachwitz in the US with blues and folk...these are the forgotten people without whom there would be no popular music heritage...we owe them a lot...

Hey! Fever by Arab Strap

I was too young to get into Big Star when they were together, but when I heard 'Thirteen' for the first time in the 90s, it seemed to me to be the perfect soundtrack to vulnerable teenage love.

"Won't you tell your dad, get off my back,

Tell him what we said 'bout Paint It Black..."

Jazz from Check in 99, Bangkok before it moved Location

Hot Rats . In which Zappa shows his skills as a composer, classical musician and arranger, jazz musician and composer and lead guitarist in a blistering guitars solo. No peurile VOs. Just Great music with some Of the Captain on vocals.

Stephen Stills always had some good acoustic licks (watch his right hand with the finger pickin') and I always admired his instruments, that looks like a real nice Martin D - 28...never could afford one meself in the old days, settled fer a Harmony dreadnought which are actually quite nice when they are new...
