Hi guys,

After building the nice house we decided to tear down the old camp house & use it for another garden. The pump has no problem drawing water up the well 11 meters & goes into a 2000 liter tank & also provides water for irrigation as well. It travels 15 meters to the tank now. I am ready to move the tank & pumps to the new house. The new casa is about 70 meters or so away. do you think the 300 watt Mitsubishi will be up to driving the water up from the well adequately if I move it another 70 meters from the source?

I think it should work but not sure. If I have to I can leave 1 the 300 Mitsubishi where it is & move the water tank & the 200 watt Mitsubishi. that pumps the water into the house. It would be a lot more convenient having all in the same pump house that I laid the new wiring for. Thanks again. The electrical went great on the house.

Hey - good to hear you are a happy camper with the house!

I assume the 300W pump is for a bore hole? I don't think you want to move that one - or you just want to put in your new pump house?. And, I wouldn't bother moving the tank either - again unless you realy want to. I would ust move the 200W pump to the pump house and use the rest for storage.. Unless you have significant grade difference - shouldn't be any problem. ie: horizantal distance shouldn't be a problem no matter what you want to do. If there is vertical distance you might need the calculator.

Cheers

It is still off the well. Not a borehole yet! The size of the pipe is 1" all the way to from the tank to the house & switches to 1/2" within the house.

The 300 watt is all 1" piping.

The only lines I didn't get to put in (when I went to the U.S. in the hot water line (now in the wall has a very tiny leak some where & I am now in the process of illuminating where the leak is coming from. First leak in 4 years in the irrigation or houses. It only figures the only line not run by me is making the pump go on & off indicating a leak somewhere. At least I got it down to the hot water!

Thanks for the help.
