Obviously a discerning and intelligent cat to like Durian. (I like Durian too).

My Thai girlfriend used to have 4 dogs. She fed them rice, table scraps, and ripe Mango. The dogs developed a taste for Mango, and ate it with gusto. Only dogs I ever saw that loved Mango like that.

There used to be a street in Singapore, in the Indian sector as I recall, that sold Durian during the Durian season. You could always find it by the smell from two blocks away.

I've always loved Durian. A great mystery of God how something that smells so bad when opened, but tastes so good when eaten.

mung bean sprouts. the two lhasas eat mung bean sprouts raw or cooked. foofoo loves bananas.

shrimp tails. (they dont keep kosher).

i wonder if too much durian eaten by animals causes problems...

De-stoned green olives in brine, marmite, eggs, water out of a Guiness pint glass (I have a piccie somewhere), fishfingers (I have to peel the batter off). That's cats, the dog I had years ago would eat everything.

OK, the small kitten has always backed away from the durian.

Today he saw the big fat cat eat so he decided to give it a try.

Now he can not get enough.

I guess it's an acquired taste.

Yup, our cat loves durian too, about once a week she and my 12yo daughter share a big chunk for afternoon snack. Her purr gets loud like a truck engine when she smells it in the shopping bag (the cat, not the daughter!)
