joordy
generally speaking, is there a difference in price for rented apartments on phuket between the south and north of the island? lets say a one bedroom. im 10 hours north and living in a 1 bdrm. for 6000. stevenl
This could lead to much discussion, but IMO: generally speaking in the North you either have Thai, very basic houses, or luxurious apartments and houses. In the South is more in between, 'normal' apartments and houses.

steelepulse
It's probably the same whether north or south when you're looking at something in the stated price range.

I'm in Khao Lak and I'm afraid it is much the same with basic Thai houses, expensive villas or overpriced mid level, i.e western kitchen, garden etc...
