Frenchie Arrested - Allegedly Assaults Thai Wife

Featured Replies

French man arrested after he allegedly assaults his Thai Wife in Soi 7.

Police were called to the front of the Flipper Lodge in Soi 7 after receiving a report of a French man who had assaulted his Thai Wife on the street. The heavily intoxicated man informed us that he had come back to Thailand two days before the incident and had spent the two days drinking around the clock. His Thai wife decided that enough was enough and it was time for him to come back to his family. The French man had other ideas and a verbal altercation outside the hotel begun which quickly became physical. Police arrived and ordered the man to calm down. He refused and according to the Police report attempted to punch one of the officers. He was handcuffed and taken to Pattaya Police Station where he was put behind bars for the night until he sobered up enough to realize his actions. Police decided to drop charges of assault against the man and he was set free on Saturday morning.

How did it take two days for his Thai wife to find him?

I would never go out in Pattaya on my own and expect my wife not to hear about it within the hour.

I live between S. Pattaya and Jomtien, but even if I go to the Pig & Whistle or somewhere else north of Pattaya Klang, I always expect the bar-girls to ask after my wife (by name) and my daughter. There is no escaping the b/g network.

She should have called on Khun O the ripper from King Kong to calm him down. Much more effective at calming down the french than the police :o
