Reds r thaksin supporters so they support what he do and therefor have no leg to stand on for complaints about double standards, human rights etc etc.

I'm Stay Chiangmai ; did any of those reds who drag the old man out his car and beat him yo death go to Jail? Or any who is/ been planting bombs / shooting grenades all over town? Police don't take it seriously or do anything, remember them washing away all the evedence on new years bombs before more investergate could happen? Police are part of the problem! Thank goodness army is more power. When an unjust tretorious enemy uses violence then they need to be squashed, gloves off , Finnish it.

Not same but ira should have been / should b squashed; problem is bloody pansy human right <deleted>, some timesin the real world people have to die to end a problem; if you couldnt kill and go to war over differring oppinion on pollitics then the Nazis an japs would b ruling the world right now; making sure you chose the right side is the most important; just being moraly indignant doesn't do anything. Ideally reds and yellows should play by the rules of peacefully democracy but thaksin suspended democracy and reds have totaly crossed the line, so now they need to be put down before any more serious damage done

IRA are now part of government.

Nazis and chaps were not stopped because they had different political opinions but because they invaded neighbouring countries.

It's good that this case finally came to court, as this guy clearly was 'out of order', at the time. But surely should have got a heavier penalty ? What if one of the brave officers had died !

On the positive side, at least he lived long enough, to have his day in court ! B)

I use True in Bangkok and the entire Prachatai website seems to be blocked, not just this one post. <_< The censorship is really getting out of hand here.

The Pratchatai website has been blocked for months. Censorship was getting out of hand a long time ago.

Red shirt Brahman sentenced to 8 months in jail for violating Emergency Decree

http://www.prachatai.com/english/node/1968

Double standards? of course not!!

This one was well hidden in the papers wasn't it.

Spreading blood on the floor, prison.

Running over policeman with a car, suspended sentence.

The "Brahman priest" was not convicted for pouring blood in Bangkok. He was sentenced for inciting unrest on May 18 in Sakon Nakhon. We don't have the details of what he did, but it is probably a safe bet it was something along the lines of trying to get people to burn something down.

You seem to have made a mistake or maybe chose to just repeat the same lie as Mr. Amsterdam did on his blog.
