Ptk Residence?

Featured Replies

Looking for information on a hotel called PTK Residence. Is anyone familiar with this place? I've tried the usual websites and can't find any first person reports. Maybe it's new or recently changed names? Is it clean, does it have a pool on the property, etc. Any info appreciated... Thanks!

i might be wrong but i think it is located on the road that connects to lamden rd. on the road that the closed scuba bar was on. from what i have seen it looks like an apartment building catering to thais, no pool that i have seen.

Clean , nice size rooms with balcony.700 baht a night last time i stayed.

Gym with new looking machines.

Swimming pool looks good.

Cable TV is lacking any decent channels but HBO and CNN are there.

Wirless internet available for a price.

Not really a great location if your walking , if you have a car or bike then it fine

For the money it's hard to beat IMHO

Thanks very much. I'll give it a try when I'm there next month. For the life of me I can't understand why they wouldn't mention the pool on their website? That's a deal breaker for a lot of people!

Just a picture of a pool.

The pool is across the parking lot.

Friend of mine stay stays there a month two times a year.

E-mail them about monthly rate.

You are going to need a bike or car.

The road is called Soi Had Ngam.

You are going to need a bike or car.

Thanks for the firsthand information! The hotel is claiming they are within walking distance of Chaweng Beach, etc. I take it that's not accurate?

Thanks; be there on the 7th!

I walk past that place every day to work.

It's just in front of Petchbancha thai boxing stadium, right?

It is a walking distance to the beach, about 300 m.

200 m to the beach road at the junction where the one way street starts/ends.

Coming from Petchbancha thai boxing stadium take left at Chinese temple and another 200 meters up on Soi Had Ngam.

:annoyed: Well you'll be walking on what must be the worst road on Samui. It is single lane and seems to be continually covered in sewerage water, has no drainage or footpaths and is home to hundreds of cheap charlie rooms in concrete boxes.
