Flying Domestic

Featured Replies

What airlines offer domestic flights I have the following allready

NOK AIR

AIR ASIA

BANGKOK AIRWAYS

ONE TWO GO ORIENT

THAI AIRWAYS

Thats it. There was an attempt many years ago to run a Ubon/Udon/Chiang Mai but nothing came of it.

And Phuket Air. A while back Air Andaman flew to Surin & Buriram, but I think they went bust.

How could we forget this forum's favourite airline.

Back in the 80's Bangkok Air was going to build a proper airport at Surin, similar to what they have done elsewhere, but for whatever reason it never happened.

Who owns Surin airport ? I think it was once a military field but its no longer on the RTAF list of bases. Brither in law lives a stones throw from the southern end of the runway.

Dont' forget PB Air, many routes to areas in Thailand where the other airlines don't fly.

Another one I should have known particularly as I think they are great. Those Embraer jets are just so nice.

The town center is only a stones throw from the end of the runway. One of the few airports where you can actually walk into the town/city it serves.

Brother in law lives just a stone throw from the end of the runway.
