Where do I go to see apartment listings in Bangkok? I've looked in the Post and Nation, but they don't list much, and it's mostly high-end stuff.

Depends on what you are looking for eg:how big, location, rent.

You can check the Yellow pages online (www.yellowpages.th) I think, they have listings of apartments.

If you are looking for a cheap apartment, less than 10000 baht a month you would have to consider moving to areas in Bangkok such as Soi Ngam Dulphi (not so far from Lumphini Park or try around the Prakanong area on Sukhumvit (soi 70 +), head further towards On Nut.

Depneds on location and your budget.

There are a couple of agents listed, who will take you around. They do get 1 months' rent if successful, paid by the owner.

If you have an idea of the location, do it yourself, walk or drive around. Once you see a building you like, just ask for the office, they will tell you if anything available and the rental. By this way, you can even further negotiate as the owner will save the agent's fee. Good luck!

Check these places for 10,000-20,000 mid range with swimming pool, fitness facilities..

Waterford park rama 4 - 5 Bht bike ride to BTS Prakanog - 16,000 Bht up for 2 Bedroom + Living & Kitchen

Greenery House - Ladprao rd..nice place bu little inside from BTS. 10,000 Bht up

Bosstower - 10Bht bike ride on Rama 4 rd towards sukhumvit 26/Rama4 intersection. prices 17,000 Bht up

If towards Central Pinklao side, you get two good Apartments face to face closer to Southern Buss Terminal. No Swimming Pool/Fitness. But good location and nice place in that area.

These are some places where some of my friends stay and can recommend.

It is hard to find mid range apartments from websites.
