Garmin Nuvi Gps

Featured Replies

If you have a Nuvi 200W, 250W, 260W, 7XX or 7XXT there has been a battery overheating and fire hazard warning/recall issued by Garmin. See their website for details and instructions: Here

Do the battery problems effect the Garmin 205W l purchased yesterday from Eagle GPS in Pantip Plaza

Also do l have to register the Gps with Garmin for product updates

Many thanks

1. NO, but if you have nothing better to do you can check the S/N on the Garmin website linked above.

2. You get updates from the ESRI Thailand website, not Garmin, since you have the Thai OS. DO NOT download any firmware updates directly from Garmin USA.

3. ESRI Thailand website located at ESRI .

4. Eagle GPS will take care of any updates you need, excellent service.
