Latest Cd You Bought

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is a repeat thread but it came to mind when I came back from the music shop today.

What is the latest CD you bought and how did you like it?

For me, I found a CD on sale for just a few quid and it is really outstanding.

Friday Night in San Francisco

Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin, and Paco DeLucia

Digitally Remastered

Recorded live in 1980 at the Warfield Theater

Approximately 42 minutes long, fully acoustic

Only a one word description applies ..... awesome!

Cold Play - X & Y . It was ok - I like last two cds better. No song really grabbed me.

Oasis - Don't believe the truth.

I'd give it 7 out 10, they have still not come close to there old stuff but it's improving. Went to watch them at City of Manchester Stadium last thursday, was proper mad rkid :o

Same.

I like it but i'd give it a 8 far better than a few previous albums. Though i also like the last one.

I got a 60's compilation CD from a car boot sale in the Isle Of Wight for 10p.

Not bad considering the owner had got the CD free with the Daily Mirror a few months previous. :D

Before that I brought Morrissey Live At Earls Court 2004 from Tescos in Fraserburgh as it was half the price it was at HMV in Aberdeen. :o

Havent actually bought a cd for ages. I am signed up online to a music site so i download all my music then burn to cd.

The last cd i actually bought was probably didos last album No angel :o

I bought a few today in HMV Singapore - Il Divo (for something completely different), Jet - Get Born, Rob Thomas - something to be (Matchbox 20 front man).

Ill let you know what they like after a listen.

Jet. Thats a fukcing great album mate. You'll enjoy it!

I agree, jet are fantastic. (for an Aussie band)  :o

Fatter Than Harry got me into Jet.

Tornado, I can't believe you bought Il Divo, are you a 70 year old granny?

The last album I bought was James Blunt's album (unfortunate name regarding cockney rhyming slang). It is fantastic - the guy has such an amazing voice - it's easily the best album I've bought this year.
