Is There A Limit To Holiday Visas Awarded?

Featured Replies

I'm finding the Forums very useful as a newly arrived expat. Thank you everybody!

Question: I've had a 30 day holiday visa from Suvarnabumi Airport, followed by a 90 day holiday visa from a Vientiane visa run. What are the chances of me getting another holiday visa and what length of stay will they give me?

Is there a "better" embassy to be processed at?

The Consulate in Vientienne will issue you with a double entry Tourist Visa.

Free of charge. This will give you up to 6 months with extensions and a border run in the middle.

...............followed by a 90 day holiday visa from a Vientiane visa run.............

a 90 day holiday visa?

I hope that you haven't confused the validity of a tourist visa with permission to stay.

Make sure that you check the stamp in your passport from when you re-entered Thailand. This will give you the date that you have to leave Thailand by (or get a 30 day extension at an immigration office)

Every consulate have their own rules/

Right now Vientiane is the be the best place........

if you don't have four back to back visas from Vientiane before.

Also depends on your nationality. (especially Filipino Teachers)
