I was wondering what he cut it for myself,I didn't take it to serious but it was a real HOOT and I can see nothing wrong with a little levity,maybe he only wants posts to news clippings and how to fix puters and tech stuff,and if that is the case,why don't they just transfer him to those topics that he finds interesting.

If I didn't enjoy the posts,I wouldn't read em and sure as he11 wouldn't post on em. If I only wanted to use this puter for EDU.and TECH stuff,I would always be in GOGGLE.

I think IT is alright , he uses some Venom occasionaly but generally lets you have your say, still unsure of his references to me in the last post of the locked thread , as I am sadly still living in UK with Thai wifey and kids , don't know if I gave any other impression.

On other forums such as Thailand-uk the admin/mods use their power in a scarier way , I have had PM's intercepted and similar shennanigans , at the end of the day what can you do?

You have to speak with IT_Manager if you want to have that thread temporary opened. He has closed it and he is the only admin who should open it.

Why not open a new thread instead, and an admin may link from the old thread, if it is reasonable?

Can IT or any one who have ability, check the IP addresses of these people who are going on slamming others. Just give us an idea, the names of these forum members atleast the active list during last 30 days and who are sharing one common IP Address or any thing that help us to know that they are dummies..

No need to make the IP address public. But just give others an idea how many IP Addresses they have in common or share with other members. You can group them together.

I am sure this is another organized plot against a one genuine guy who spends his time doing good for the foreigners living in Thailand.

I am sure once you group these people on the top of the pinned section, and then allow them to post anything they want and also allow them to open any jungle topic they like to do. So this will be a kind of place for them and you will not get this type of responces.

Those who like to share ideas real and also genuine will have sense to ignore them.

I made this comment even before. We get misleaded and now I am very suspicious of making comments here as we never know who these people are.

We all who spend time here know that this is happening and it is getting more and more bad each day.

So someone should put a stop at this and not to make this forum go down to the level of …………..

Stop all these dummies and stop all the enethical, unacceptable replies.

Als stop any post or reply if you feel it will mislead another Foreigner who visit this forum to find information. Specially under the Visa section.

Also stop all SPAM and all getting rich quick and making you younger business.

I am sure you can not stop all these crab..but by making an effort to do it will add so much value to this Forum and for all those who are really enjoing the time here.

Sorry..you have to select between these two options. I can not think of any other option.

Guys please understand.. some of you see me as being too quick with the mouse, whicch even I admitted once. The issue with the thread is it was going away from the levity and into a situation where guys were IMHO taking it too seriously.

The admins are aware of where the thread originated, and it certainly wasn't Sukhumvit Soi 3. That was the reason for the termination. If everyone was laughing and carrying on cool, but that wasn't happening. People were looking askancve at their spouses and wondering "me next?".

Start a new thread by all means about it, but keep it light. And as to me cooling down, good idea. Thats how I voted in the poll. Need to chill 50%. So I did.

A new thread, lots of smilies to let new people know you are just joking.

a) We give guys like a country's president a grace period of 100 days. I do not compare admin in this board with GWB

but expect everybody to be fair.

If you don't like what is done or written in here. Say so.

c) IMHO whatever I read by IT M is researched and well written, it might not always reflect everybody's same opinion, but give credit to him, for using his brains b4 using his fingers on the key-board.

d) Any board needs an administration which in turn is a lot of work. If somebody is willing to invest the time I say a thank you. If the one or other thing is felt to be too harsh or perhaps done in a rush, I say as well, IT M calm down, relax and get used to. I said it b4, however, a zoo needs all kind of animals.

e) I go to my favorite pub(s) once in a while (?) and love it but I would not like to be the owner or manager. If I am tired or fed up, I go home. He has to stay.

Now I compared in one posting the admin with GWB, a pub manager and a zoo.

Not a bad riposte Andrew. Actually I am waiting for my son to get home which is why I'm still here. Normally 2 hours per day whilst working on other things.

Out of touch, perhaps. I must confess it has been a long time since I visited the horseshoe bars. I try to keep a view of the real world, in spite of that lack in my character.

It would be foolish of me to discuss the other moderators, but my humble opinion is that they have a fairly firm grip on reality. Certainly that is my view from the discussions we have shared.
