Jakob, I was just thinking that when you said it. Wasn't sure what to say until right this minute.

Two major objectives were achieved. First, you got to see your name up in lights...was it fun? Second, having joined so recently, even if as you say you have browsed for a while, I assume you missed topics with hard words in the titles about economy, religion etc, and opted for "clip IT's wings". At least others have the good sense to introduce their newbiness, you just just blurted out.

I have said why the thread was closed. I found the thread a good read. I know sometimes it can be hard, but you can actually "read", what was there. You just can't add to it.

Now if you look all the way to the bottom where you find the note about the closure, and read all the words, you will see I said a) I would link it if someonoe had something worthwhile to say, and 2) I pointed out that several young people had been leery of their wives, as a direct result of a posting that was funny, if people hadn't taken it seriously.

As to snipping, you owe me personally an apology for inferring that I do that lightly. I have not once sandboxed someone, (out of the twice I have done it), without good reason. Reasons are elucidated (that means detailed), elsewhere, so go find them. Then you will have at least a portion of an inkling of an understanding of why it was done, then armed with that modicum of education, come back and either post rationally, humorously funnily or anything else you like which adds to the forum.
