His Mother is Thai Father American. Met here during the war and settled in the States.

Tiger classes himself as 100% American, holds an American Passport, does NOT have Duel Citizenship and hardly ever comes here.

As for his Mother being close to the bomb blast, so what? So were thousands of other people who do not have famous offspring, and nearly 60 poor souls who were even closer.

Just because one is FAMOUS does not give you prefferential treatment in situations like this. Famous or not EVERYBODY IS LOVED BY SOMEONE, and as such those who have lost Fathers, Mothers , Sons, Brothers, Sisters, Wives or Husbands will greive for their loved ones, not because they were famous -but because they LOVED them
