Closest Place To Pattaya To Get A Thai Visa

So I have until the 17th of this month to stay in thailand and really would like to stay until the 30th. I went to thai immigration and they said it would be 1800 to extend for 7 days. So I think this weekend I will make a run to get a tourist visa somewhere. Can anyone tell me where the closest location would be to pattaya?

I have to work on monday so I would like this to be quick and easy. lol. not sure if that will work.

If you only want to stay until the 30th Sept you don't need a visa, just do a border run and get a 15 day visa exempt entry. Closest place is Cambodia - Pong Nom Ron? I think, all the border run companies in town will take you to the same place.

In case your unaware you can not work in Thailand without a non immigrant visa entry and a work permit.

As said a quick hop over the border will get 15 days.

Also as said you cannot legally work with this.
