My sister is applying for a UK Tourist Visa for her Thai boyfriend next year, and she's worrying about something.

Does anyone think ECO's read topics on this forum, and use that to make decisions on visa applications?

Posts on this forum are anonymous. So even if they did read it, how would they associate a particular post with one of the 20,000 plus applications they recieve each year?

im not putting anymore info on this forum , i dont know if its just me being paranoid but there does seem to be a lot of detail questions getting asked ?, there are also a great number of people who want to slag you off ! or put your case down all the time ! , guys like 7by7 have been great and i appreciate all your help and advice , but i think im going to leave it for a while now , ill try for the visa and see how it goes , if refused i have an agent with a glowing reputation who is well priced , ill maybe use him , at the end of the day ive done nothing wrong and im having a real relatioship so sooner or later we will get the visa

You are still allowed to express an opinion and, as 7by7 said, how on earth could an ECO link an online poster with a particular visa application?

yes youre right , but im not posting again for a while , im fed up with all the negative comments , and people that are looking to argue
