This may sound petty, but I'm trying to arrange my parent's itinary for coming out to my wedding in Nakon Sawan over new years eve.

They need to know, can they get an air con public bus back to Bangkok on new years day.

New years day is a public holiday, but my wife seems to think buses will be running. Is this right?

Yes they are running, and you have to book a ticket a long way before. They run late and are very overcrowded. The Aircon is in "Crisis Mode"

My tip, try to get a mini-van or something else, or even the train.

The roads over new year are shocking.
