Recommended Posts

My relative intends to buy a condo around Sukumvit area.

How much is the Monthly Common Management Fee for a small Studio unit,

say aroung 60 sqm. Just an average estimate.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Mine is 14,000 Baht per year, that's in Pattaya though.

Electricity can be high in some condos, and simple things like getting an internet connection, the condo may charge an extra fee for themselves.

It all depends on the age, size and amenities offered. I pay 25 baht per square metre (condo size 100sqm) therefore 2500 baht/ month. River views, common area with tables & chairs around the swimming pool, 2x gym's & roof top garden. Relatively new building.

Hmm, if you are paying the monthly fees, unless its a big <deleted> off place should be around the 2500- 3000 mark per month. Electricity, well I would suggest that most people that pay a monthly fee also get their electric billed to them directly. If you have the management charge you electricity there is a very good chance you are paying over the odds, I believe (and Im prepared to be corrected) that a unit of electric is about 3.8 baht, so my bill at my place (2 bed, 72 sqm) is between 1200 & 1800 dependant on how much I turn the Aircon on. However I have heard condo buildings charging up to 7 baht a unit, so you could double that price

Yeah rabbit,

My charge is 4 Baht per unit, but I think the old air con has to go as I used 750 units, 3000 Baht.

On a basic studio apartment of about 32 - 34 sq. metres, in a basic building with no special amenities, my landlord was paying about 900 baht per month. This was in central Bangkok.
