I hate the color of pure gold, it is garish. I probably should have pure gold is hideous as jewelry.

Also I think wearing big chunky chains is quite uncouth.

As it suddenly dawns on me that the OP hasn't replied at all on this thread. Just us lot bullshitting our way around.

Don't raise her expectations : ) if you gave gold before marriage imagine what she would expect after
