ive seen many thai style nurseries on the local roads but does any one know of a place just dedicated to horticultural needs??

Dont know of a specific horticulture shop, but if you go to the market at Huay Yai temple on a Friday there are several stalls selling seeds, fertilizers, plant foods, composts, young plants etc. a big one right down the bottom end (south end) of the market seems to cover all - maybe you can ask them where their shop is or where they get their supplies?

Yup; there's a pretty big plant market on Sukhumvit Rd. (right beside McDonald's) every weekend. G'luck.
