Insurance...

Featured Replies

hello folks....

just a bit of info would be really appreciated....

I came to thailand for a year not long ago...and got a years travel insurance, before i came ,,,it cost me around £300..... (in the uk)

I am coming back for a year at least, very soon,,,,, so the question is, what do all you chaps that live /stay for long periods do about insurance???

should i do the same as before??

or is there a better way??

or should i just not get insurance, but make sure i have funds available should i need them for an emergency???

thanks for any help.....

If you do decide to take out an annual policy again, make sure you read the small print as most of these dont cover you for more than 30 days out of the UK at any given time.

A friend fell into this trap once and cost him dearly.

Of course, if you already knew this then please disregard this post :o
