my first visarun is about to take place and for some reason I decided to go to Laos.

So I just ask all`ya experienced guys what specially I shoud take care of in Vientiane. Any hotel to be recommended? Any evening places there?

If you like Italian food, eat at L'Opera in the circle by the fountain. Very good lasagna there. There was also a bakery in the circle not far from L'Opera. They had some excellent stuff.

I'm sorry, I assumed you would know the location of L'Opera in my post above this one but just in case you dont, that restaurant is in Vientiane.

Also if you walk up to the river at dusk it's really nice. Everyone seems to be there doing sports, and there are a lot of restaurants on the side where you can eat cheap and good food.
