Soulwy 1
I feel like painting again, but I don't want to buy all the stuff as I haven't a steady place to live. Is there a painting class where I can show up and use the material? Don't need a teacher, just want to play with paint.
IanForbes 449
I don't know any classes like that, but if you try watercolour it doesn't take much financial outlay or material. I carry my stuff wherever I go. And there's a never ending number of available models. Edited September 28, 2010 by IanForbes

Soulwy 1
November222 is in the cuuuurve... Dear Ian... watercolouring... Thanks for suggesting, but I find this the most difficult technique there is... I have to concentrate too hard and you actually have to think about what to fill in now and what to fill in later. You seem to have no problem though... Very nice portret.
IanForbes 449
that looks nothing like him. it looks more like a fish to me. :jap: I usually start with a few pencil sketches and if I capture something I like then I'll try to recreate it for painting
Soulwy 1
By seeing your work I really feel like doing something... I think I just start with buying a sketch book and start sketching. It's a good way to get into it again. What I especially liked about the first portret is how you set the light in the hair and cheek, not to forget ears.
