THis whole album is brilliant, but this Stipe song brings back some special memories..of a most sensual dance I once performed with a dear ex-friend.
Neeranam Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 (edited) Raw Power - Iggy Pop ( a classic - the first ever 'punk' song, perhaps) Edited October 17, 2006 by Neeranam
Thaddeus Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Maybe - The Wonder Stuff (from Never Loved Elvis) Maybe I should take the mike, (mic')stand up tall like Michael Stipe, and try to solve all the problems of the earth. Or maybe then I should sit back down, scratch my chin and use my frown, and try to figure out exactly what I'm worth. We're still building churches, burning books, killing the babies to feed the crooks. Who said the world would turn out fair? So I guess I'll dig myself a hole, ask the devil if he wants my soul, And do soemthing real like cut my hair. Great stuff.

bendix Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Creep by Radiohead. A classic. I'm just about to buy one of the new Nano iPods so have been transferring a lot of my cds to iTunes - going through the songs I want to keep and those i can live without. It's a cathartic experience. I've also been buying lots of cds to get other stuff that I had years ago but lost - bowie favourites, dylan, rem etc etc. It's like reliving my life over again.
game4shame Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 (edited) Creep by Radiohead. A classic. 'street spirit' came on my mp3 player on the way to work - good tune but must be in the running for most depressing track ever. Edited October 20, 2006 by game4shame
