Local Bkk Eats

Featured Replies

We put up the beginnings of our site.

Eventually, we will expand it.

I'm sure there are more and better places to be found.

We just wanted to break the ice for those not familiar with Bangkok's eateries.

Cheap Eats Bangkok

Great site. :o

Been waiting for a website like this.

Looking forward for this to further expand.

Maybe you should publish a guide book on cheap eatery in BKK too.

I'll PM you if I can find any info I can contribute to your site.

Congratulations on finding a gap on Bangkok on-line guides. I've sent a couple of lines on MBK.

Nice looking site, I guess you wanted some feedback so can you speed up the entrance after clicking on the tuk tuk though? Its a great little animation but for some reasons you have to wait after it stops for a few seconds. It also took me a while to realise I was supposed to click on it.

What a great idea, good to see sathupradit on there too! :o

no , its not good site .. i dont like it loads

1 seem its cool site , i confess ,sob :D

2 it makes me hungry

Bambi heaw :D:D

where is the search on the site?

comments from users, etc ?

the interaction design sucks, so do the graphics.

etc, but hey, thats my opinion...

pluss. Pictures of FOOD is tricky, they should be good before I want to eat them..

try again, or harder..

where is the search on the site?

We don't view this site as the definitive statement on the subject.

It was designed, as stated, for someone uncomfortable with Bangkok's small eateries.

These would be people that don't know what they want.

Because of this, and the site's small size, we didn't think a "search" was/is needed.

comments from users ?

We have a "comment" function on most pages.

You click and go; What kind of "interaction" do we need?

Yes indeed; we all have our opinions.

Personally, looking at the photos makes me hungry!

try again, or harder..

We keep on playing with this stuff.

Any suggestions?

suggest:

- cross reference, kind of food, places, price, search is always nice, however, the site might grow over time.

- use more food friendly colors ?

- avoid extra clicks. The Tuk Tuk is fun, but place it inside as a gag instead, direct access to the content always helps and avoid people getting tired of clicking because its annoying .

- optimize the pictures, they load slow. where is the host located?

- added info info, :o

- always available menus.

by the way, nice info, gonna try some of the spots.

Chok dee!
