I had some free time so I drove to Aranyaprathet from Sri Racha (about 2 1/2 hour drive) to get my passport stamped as I am on a non-imm visa.

When I arrived, I kinda freaked out at the sheer amount of touts, kids holding umbrellas and the like. People say not to use the Cambodian visa touts who lurk out the front of the border. I did and he was golden. Skipped the long foreigner line, walked across the border. He told me to give the 1200 baht to some immigration general looking douche for my entrance and exit stamp. within 10 minutes I had my passport handed back to me and my tout walked me back to Thai immigration and told me I could go straight through to the Thai passport line (with no one in it).

Stamped and sorted all within 20 minutes. The guy asked me for 200 baht for his troubles and that was it. Total was 1400 baht.

I know it could have been about 200 or 300 baht cheaper but when it only took me less than 20 minutes (and took others over an hour), I couldn't care less!
