March 29, 201016 yr Nothing special about any of my pics, just images of people and places. This was from a new cam and Im not used to it. Excuses, excuses, I know. The following two pictures capture an incredible aspect of Thai culture anywhere you go....impromptu prayer. It can happen anytime from early in the morning, afternoon, or REALLY early in the morning, say, 3 or 4am when the monks are collecting alms and blessing the Katoeys on their way home.....

June 25, 201115 yr Since there doesn't seem to be a thread for the Phuket Fun Fly, I will put them here. I was interested in participating in the Canon photography contest only to learn that you can only submit photo's from Canon camera's bought in Thailand. Nothing says "locals only" better than that. (At the moment I am not able to view my photos. Not sure if it is a Thaivisa problem or Photobucket problem. I will upload a few to the Thaivisa servers, but they may be big, so my apologies. I use Photobucket so people don't have to wait forever for a photo to load as they do using Thaivisa's current ridiculous attachment system.) Edited June 25, 201115 yr by ScubaBuddha

September 9, 201213 yr We have many orchids scattered around our garden, and this is one of my favourites. Unfortunately, it also seems to attract any orchid eating bug that is lingering close by, so typically we only get the full benefit of it's beauty for a couple of days before it's eaten. This taken this morning (note the 3 or 4 other flower buds about to open also). Click to enlarge:

November 1, 201213 yr Whilst looking for some different photos, I came across these of Kaset Market, near Robinsons, in Phuket Town that I'd taken some time ago. Only open early in the morning, by 9 a.m. it's all finished. Good variety of produce, and some interesting characters there also. Click to enlarge:
