I am a UK citizen currently in Thailand with a multi entry 'O' visa which I got from Hull. Every year I go back to the UK for a few months and return to Thailand. With the cost of flights rising I wonder if someone can give some handle on my thoughts and if its possible. I am 60 by the way. I was thinking if I did not have to go back to the UK how would I get a new multi entry 'O' visa? Would it be possible on my last exit to go to the Thai Embassy/Consulate in Vientienne(?) Laos and get one there if so how much would it cost. Its 108.00 gb pounds including postage in the UK, any thoughts and observations would we welcome.

A single entry based on exploring retirement is all you will get anywhere in the region. Without having a Thai Spouse.

Other option is to extend by 12 months at Immigration if you have 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank OR 65,000 Baht monthly income OR a combination of the two.
