Going down Thepprasit the other day I saw a sign which said 'Beer Barbecue'. The price was 269Baht (I think).

Can anyone tell me what a Beer Barbecue consists of.

Usually the food is marinated in beer or has some type of beer batter before it is BBQ'd . At least this is the method in the U.S. adapted from Germany.

It's not exactly rocket science or quantom physics now is it ? ;):o

Bear in mind you're dealing with Pattaya expats. Be kind to them. ( FYI - it's 'quantum' physics )

After these 'helpful' replies I guess that I am going to have to go into the bar/restaurant and ask what you get for your money.

Is it possible that it's only the name of the place and as no real meaning? It seems to me that there are some strangely named businesses in Thailand, so I could see somebody deciding that farang like both beer and B-B-Q's, so let;s name it.......

Place an open can of your favourite beer firmly up the rear end of a large chicken, wrap wingtips and leg ends with tinfoil, then stand on a low/medium heat barbecue for 45-60 minutes.

Delicious Beer Barbecue!
