What Is The "real" Value Of The Elite Card

Featured Replies

In a tremendous display of the true value for the Elite Card :D , Thaksin gave away TWO Thai Elite Cards in exchange for him receiving a T-shirt....

As in most business dealings, Thaksin came out ahead.

Yesterday’s visit by Real Madrid players at Government House drew a crowd of admirers - most of them government officials.

They presented Thaksin with a special team jersey with his surname and the number 56, signifying his age, on the back and autographs of all the players on the front. Thaksin in turn gave the team two Elite Cards for use by any of its players or officials.

*edit*. Never one to miss an opportunity for a blunder, Thaksin asked stupid questions of players:

The premier spent an especially long time talking to Beckham and was heard asking the multimillionaire player what he planned to do with all his money. Beckham smiled and replied that he needed to save all the money he earned for the future because a footballer’s career is short-lived.

Nice way of saying "<deleted> off...it's none of your business what I do with my money".

You'd think with his "western" education, he wouldn't ask the same old tired Thai schoolboy questions of "how much money you make?" "what do you do with your money?"

etc.

Oh well.... so much for the credibility of a Texan PhD.

:D

Never-speak-about-money-with-people-who-already-have-a-lot-of-it...

At least with westerners... Chinese maybe can't speak about anything else...

I guess Thaksin will never understand that :o

Unfortunately my wife thinks all Westerners earn the same as Beckham ......... :o

:o her too?

Maybe we can tell them all that we "keep all our money for the future", that's why we don't want to spend too much with them :D

Toxin was then heard to ask of Beckham, "You pay barfine now, Khrap? You Handsome Man..."

If the entire Real Madrid organization can use the Elite card they've received, why doesn't Thai Visa United football club get one - and all the players and trainers and cheerleaders can use it.
