I know ive asked this before but need further clarification please. I am currently on a one month tourist visa obtained at the airport after flying into thailand and i have about 12 days left on it. Im interested in changing it into a non immigrant b visa and have been told that it can be done within thailand. do you know how 2 go about doing this in regards 2 how many days are required on the tourist visa for it 2 be elegible for the change, where i can do this, and the cost. any information would be very much appreciated. also if i am under the number of days required 2 transfer the visa how do i go about extending the visa. I really dont want 2 make a trip into laos for this non immigrant b

You do not have a Tourist Visa. You have a Visa Exempt Entry.

You need to apply for another Visa at a Consulate outside Thailand.

Or exit and return to get 15 days at a land border or 30 days by air.

If applying for a Non B Visa you would need paperwork from the company plus a receipt from the Labour Office confiming that you have applied for a Work Permit.
