Instant Grooming Turnoffs

I found this hilarious as to me, much of this isn't grooming, its called personal hygiene! I mean, really. Is it grooming for someone to take a shower regularly?

body odor

ear and nose hair

back hair (some women like this tbh)

dandruff

yellow teeth

dirty nails

And what really gets me is the conclusion, that this is a long list! Like well, its pretty bad to have to comply with asking someone to shower, brush their teeth and wash their hair but I guess we will just have to go along with it if we want to snag chicks.

Though this list may seem long, what women are really searching for in a partner is health and basic hygiene. A clean, natural scent, white teeth, nice hair, and groomed facial hair are all signs of a vibrant mate, and as you can see, they're not all that difficult to achieve. When it comes to aesthetics, tidy nails and a bit of manscaping where you need it will meet most women's standards for male grooming. Change your ways in at least one of these areas, and we guarantee your weekends will suddenly be a lot more busy

Um, as far as I am concerned, changing your ways in just one of these is not enough. Taking a shower, shampooing your hair and brushing your teeth are an absolute bare minimum.

You'd be amazed at how many men out there, do not even do the basics. Not that I know any, but I do know a few who could do with a few tips!! Especially with the nails.

I'm starting to think i am quite a good catch.:D

interested to know the view/stance taken by the women of this forum on facial hair. ie beards, mustaches, trimmed or groomed. seeing as so many of the pics that they post show men sporting such characteristics. biggrin.gif come to think of it and while we are on the subject what about what kind of haircuts are preferred. or does it just really come down to what kind of a man he is and whats inside that counts. wink.gif

p.s. carmine.

i think your gorgeous no matter what people might say. laugh.gif

Toenails are the problem in Europe. Men wear socks and shoes for most of the year. The sun comes out and so do the sandals... I know many men who dress good, smell good, groom good - but the moment they put those sandals on... :bah:

It's like their personal grooming stopped above the knees!!

looks help, certainly but its not the be all and end all for most women. However, a man who is slovenly and unkempt shows that he can't even take care of himself. Most women aren't really that interested in a big baby.

Dunno bit of a fetish - adult babies... :o

Do you know, I actually went on U toob looking for vids of men dressed as babies?!! Didn't find any, luckily...

^Bit disturbing lads or ladies in diapers, however I know such things exist. ;)

Only just spotted this.

PERSONALLY, I don't like facial hair. Went out with a man once with a moustache and just hated the scratchiness of it when kissing. Its not the look of it I object to, I just don't want it to scratch my face! My poor mouth area was red!

Haven't seen a beard I like yet though...

Each to their own I suppose. I've no doubt other women find facial hair attractive.

It's called "beard rash".
