Hey Folks,

So far, I've found one promotion that seemed appealing. 3 large Singhas for 159 thb at that HBH place by the Golfcourse. Kind of quiet in there, and the reviews seem to indicate the food is overpriced and not very good. I've been doing three large Tigers in Chiang Mai for 129 THB. Many say that is impossible. The only plausible explanation was that they get the old ones. Well last week, they were born on 08-25-2010 and tasted super, so I'm not buying into that, either. Another suggested it was a raquet to buy girls drinks. It's never happened. Anyhoo, there has got to be some kind of "promotion" around CR with three for 129 or 109 or something. Someone told me to look around the golfcourse and all I saw was the Singha deal with the salty burgers. Where are the Thai places? Hey I actually like to party with them. You know the old Miller Lite commercial, "When I drink Beer, I really drink beer............." so let's say 3-6 large, just can't do 100 THB each. A little help please...............

let us know what you find and we can all ditch our local not so super markets .

3 bottles of chang just over 100 baht. not sure exact price, cant drink the stuff any more , it makes my skin shed.

There's a restaurant very close to Rico's (as you come out of Rico's entrance walk left about 50mtrs) that used to have 3 large Chang Draught for 69 baht!!! I don't think they are still that cheap as it was when Chang Draught was first introduced but I'm sure they still have some sort of promotion, I've not been for a while so can't be sure though.

I was thinking of that place myself Stu, then I remembered seeing a large tree had totalled the place during last years windy season. I dont know if they have made the tree a feature or abandoned the place.
